Clean & Exfoliate Your Face

Start by exfoliating your face. Use a facial scrub or cleansing brush to gently get rid of dead skin cells (try our facial scrub for a great, natural exfoliator). This will help make sure your facial tan lasts as long as possible.

Apply Face Self Tanner

When you’re ready, apply a thin layer of face self tanner lotion evenly over your face and all the way up into your hairline. Don’t forget your neck and blend behind your ears and all the way down to your chest. If you have very blonde hair, it is a good idea to put a moisturizer into your hairline. For application, we recommend using our self tanning application kit or a makeup brush for easier application and to avoid your hands getting product on them. Always wash your hands immediately after tanning. Your skin should reach your desired color within six hours.

MAINTAIN that glow!

Moisturize and hydrate your skin morning and night. This will help your tan last longer. Your tan lasts as long as your skin cells, so when they turn over (exfoliate) the tan will start to fade. We find that reapplying your face self tanner every 3-4 days is best for maintaining color, but do what works best for you. Enjoy!

ALOE VERA (Aloe Barbadensis)

Brimming with antioxidants Vitamins A and C, and enzymes, Aloe Vera fights inflammation and soothes irritated and dry skin skin. Aloe also helps combat acne and eczema.

DHA (Dihydroxyacetone)

DHA is the core tanning ingredient in nearly every self tanner out there. Our DHA is uniquely derived from non-GMO sugar beets to provide you with that flawless glow. How does DHA work? Good question, DHA reacts by temporarily darkening your dead skin cells on the surface. Similar to a browning apple laid out once you've cut into it, you will start to notice the color change as time goes by.

SHEA BUTTER (Butyrospermum Parkii)

Filled with vitamins and fatty acids, shea butter softens, conditions, and moisturizes skin all while combatting inflammation.

CRANBERRY FRUIT EXTRACT (Vaccinium Macrocarpon)

Rich in vitamins A and C essential for collagen production, cranberries also fight signs of aging by keeping skin hydrated and fighting off wrinkle-causing free radicals.

JAPANESE GREEN TEA (Camellia Oleifera)

Japanese Green Tea does wonders for sensitive skin! It’s your skin’s BFF for reducing redness, irritation, and premature aging.

WITCH HAZEL EXTRACT (Hamamelis Virginiana)
